2.2. Kuwait International Airport (OKKK)

Located on the Northern Edge of the Arabian Peninsula at the head of the Persian Gulf, Kuwait is an ever expanding country. Kuwait International Airport (OKKK) is the only commercial airport within the State of Kuwait. Kuwait International Airport dates back to around 1927. Kuwait International Airport is currently undergoing massive redevelopment which includes a brand new state of the art Terminal 2 which is located to the South of the current Terminals at Kuwait and is expected to open late 2026. The redvelopment also includes a brand new runway 16/34 located on the Western edge of the airfield which will help increase traffic and passenger levels into the airport.
